Clinic for expectant Moms, Situated in Section 57 Thulana, Madawachchiya District In Rural Sri Lanka. Over 200 (aprox.)pregnant ladies, and Kids get their routine treatments from this medical center In any given Month. Not only that, there are about 150 dharma school kids attending dharma school at this Same location every week. More over almost all other government offices also situated in this same Location . As such This particular Location is of a great Importance To the Community.

According to the health Authorities, there are approximately about 150 people who are already suffering From Kidney disease In this said community . So Having fair Access to Cleaner Drinking water at this location can be a game changer to all these Many People who are visiting this place Daily. The installation of a RO water filter in this place which serves a large number of children, pregnant mothers and poor people is a valuable opportunity to save these people from kidney disease.

We have tested the water. TDS level of this temple is 405. Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) in water are some organic and inorganic materials, which include minerals and ions that are dissolved in a particular quantity in water. TDS Level in parts per million(ppm) 300-500 is less acceptable. A high TDS level, however, can affect the taste and odour of water. Reverse Osmosis removes TDS by forcing the water, under pressure, through a synthetic membrane.

After testing the water we have donated a RO Filter to this place. Pregnant mothers were very happy about this donation. Arrangements were also made to obtain water for Dhamma school children through this filter. Teachers also appreciated this donation.
