We donated groceries (dry rations) to these 4 families we found in Madawachchiya, Anuradhapura in Sri Lanka. These families with kids and a disabled person are facing poverty even before COVID hit the country. The current situation has made it worse for these innocent families. We give you a picture story for each family so you can understand their situation. Three meals a day is a luxury to them. These families live in tiny houses made of clay. Some of these houses are no structurally stable and are not safe to live in as you can see from the pictures. Thanks to your donations, each family received groceries enough for a couple of weeks. It looks like these innocent children do not get balanced nutritional meal at all. Their parents who make living from casual labour work are helpless these days.
